Folks...I can't express the pain in my heart over what I saw today in Hammonton, New Jersey. I wanted to look away, but for the purposes of this blog and chronicling the plight of carts nationwide (and worldwide), I had to document it.
This past weekend's snowstorm brought forth tragic consequences for the carts you're about to see. This is not for the faint of heart.
There are no words. Please, spare a moment of silence for those lost due to this historic snowstorm.
There is a problem in the world today. We see it everywhere; on street corners, down alleyways, right in our own neighborhoods. We could help, but most of us choose to turn a blind eye at this epidemic. The problem? Shopping carts who have left their homes. Some have been stolen from their parking lot corrals, others have left of their own volition. And yet others don't know how they got to where they are today. These are their stories.
*shakes head* This is just too sad for words.
